Chroma Design planned a new public demonstration garden for the Erie Town Hall campus. The firm worked with a town steering committee to develop the garden concept and the construction documents. The garden is intended to be a passive public destination that will display low water use and native Colorado plants and provide visitors with the opportunity to observe the horticultural display in all seasons. Plants will be identified with tags, and water saving information about the garden will be available on the Town’s website. The garden’s central feature is a 20-foot wide arbor that sports a form inspired by the Sego Lily, a Colorado native.
