Our office designed and implemented the latest phase of Bond Park in Estes Park, Colorado. The park site is the town’s commons located on their main street, Elkhorn Avenue, and between the town offices and the historic commercial core. The park was master planned by others in 2009 and the first phase of construction was completed in 2011.
Chroma Design’s phase of work includes the park’s gateway pavilion and Elkhorn Avenue streetscape with a pedestrian plaza, stone performance seating, street trees, colorful plantings, and a picnic grove.
Our gateway pavilion has become Bond Park’s iconic symbol. Major park events are scheduled every weekend from May through September with up to 10,000 daily visitors.
